A Time to Be Thankful

Hope everyone in Craftyland had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We visited family in Missouri and had a great time catching up, holding new babies, looking at wedding pictures, and eating some healthy, fat-free food too (wink wink).  To make this card for the SIMPLY CREATE TOO GIVE THANKS CHALLENGE, I used Stampin Up's "Day of Gratitude" stamp set for the leaves and sentiment. I painted the leaves with champagne shimmer paint and then cut them out. The pretty flowered paper you see is Comfort Cafe by SU and is attached to Soft Suede CS. For embellishments, I used Cherry Cobbler Tulle and punch out a bird to pop up on the bottom. It makes a soft and festive Thanksgiving card, don't ya think?
