This weekend has been a good one in terms of getting a bunch of crafty things done. Here are a few things I have been working on. The first two were inspired by the sketch for PPA 77 this week. It's been a long time since I've played along because my job has kept me so busy, but I wanted to stop being a blog-lookey-lou and actually put some cards in the ring!
For the first card, I used the "Three little words" set that I got last year for SAB and have barely cracked open. Shocking, I know. I like the tulip stamp in that set and as you can see, I went a little crazy stamping them.
The second card is one I made for a swap I doing this week with my upline. I wanted a new take on valentine colors and opted for melon mambo, chocolate chip and crumb cake. I really like this one with the Elegant soiree DSP.
The last card is a CASE from Kelly Rose seen here. I love her coffee cup design, but to use this layout for a valentine. What do you think?
Recipe- Card #1: Crumb cake base, Basic Gray, Elegant Soiree DSP, Three little words stamp set, Champagne chunky sprinkles, Butterfly die, pearls, circle punches.
Card #2:Crumb cake base with chocolate chip backing, Three little words stamp set, Melon mambo, elegant soiree dsp, scallop heart die, large heart punch, scallop edge punch, Expresso satin ribbon.
Card #3:Crumb cake base, Cherry cobbler, scallop heart die, large heart punch, scallop edge punch, Expresso satin ribbon.
Welcome back! And you've brought some wonderful Valentines with you!
